Colorful people in cafes or at the beach gaze at each other and talk intently. Others stare into space while they are in their own worlds and seem to be floating or sitting without chairs. Some of the people are painted in duplicate or triplicate but in different colors. This painting series is concerned with communication, isolation, laughter, hope, and healing.
